When I get a text from a friend and I swipe the text it tells me time I read it...But when I get a text from someone else it shows nothing...No time of when sent..Why is this happening? is it the person who is sending the text phone or something wrong with mine...??

There may a difference between some of your incoming text messages
Texts to and from Apple devices use wi-fi, (and Apple software both ends) = (blue bubbles)
while
Texts from Android phones use cellular data = (green bubbles).
It is up to date. Unless its Verizon... Hard to get any reception in Wilton Ct!! Seems Verizon does not exist in Wilton. But yet we pay for no reception!!!

It seems the wi-fi iMessages (blue bubbles) would be the ones showing the time ok.
