Could not communicate with the server

I tried to install WhatsApp on my wife's gifted iPhone 7s, but got confused by the iCloud account setup. I mistakenly entered card details and got an error. After realizing my mistake, I attempted to create an iCloud account correctly, but was locked out due to too many attempts. I asked a friend to create an iCloud account on their phone, but now I can't connect to the server. I need help fixing this issue and either connecting to the server or creating a new account. Thanks.

Hi abdul-razak256,

The solution to this depends on exactly what is showing on your end. For example, if that iPhone has created too many free accounts, you wouldn't be able to create a new iCloud account on it. Please provide us with more specific details including the specific messages you get when you try to set up an account.
