The IMEI is available in iPhone Settings > General > About

If you no longer have the iPhone (lost, stolen), you can use your Apple ID to log into AppleID.Apple.Com, and tap the left column Devices tab, then tap the iPhone.

An iPad is not a phone, so what do you need the IMEI number for?
