Xprotect doesnt show up in activity monitor

Whenever I open my computer after shutdown or restart, 3-4 different forms of xprotect start running and then it goes through all the different checks https://eclecticlight.co/2022/08/30/macos-now-scans-for-malware-whenever-it-gets-a-chance/. However, after a while, all forms of xprotect dissapear. I think this occurs when memory pressure is medium, but I'm not 100% certain. Is this normal?
