Apple Mail - Smart Mailbox

Adding iCloud Inbox + Gmail Inbox works only on initial setup for a smart mailbox

After closing the Mail app and coming back later the smart mailbox will then be populated by two iCloud Inboxes.

Any attempt to change it back to iCloud + Gmail Inbox results in the duplicated iCloud immediately.

Question being: how can I have a smart mailbox keep the distinct Inboxes?

Smart Mailboxes on device for iOS and iPadOS? Is there a way that we can bring smart mailboxes that exist on the macos Mail app and allow them to be created locally per device on iOS and iPadOS? The only way that I am able to create like features from Gmail and Spark for sorting emails from multiple email accounts is to create my own smart folders and tailor with a ton of rules that I manually input myself. I have one for Promotions, another for News, and another for Financials, etc. That is great, but I often check my email on iPhone and iPad, and I have no such way of doing that on those devices. Has anyone heard of the feature coming, or is there some setting that I am missing? (Please don't repost a link to the method of using mailboxes and rules through iCloud.com. That most certainly does not solve this issue.)

iCloud account showing twice in mail. I recently logged out of iCloud on all my devices to try to solve an issue with Continuity camera. After logging back in all my devices that issue was solved, but my iCloud account now shows up twice on Mail on the Mac. I now get two of every email on the Mac, and cannot delete one of the mailboxes. On Mail on my iPhone, only one account is showing, and there is only one copy of each email. I've tried logging out of the iCloud account, and then back in, but I still have two identical iCloud mailboxes, each with all the same emails. The 'All Inboxes' inbox shows two copies of every iCloud email. Someone please help as this is very annoying!
