Am upgrading from 12 to 14, trying to do swap data between the phones, but doesn't seem to be working, should I have my original SIM in the new phone before starting the swap? Sorry if this has been asked, did search FAQs but couldn't see anything. Many thanks

which of the 3 methods are you trying to use Transfer data from your previous iOS or iPadOS device to your new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
