On select (newish) Samsung TVs, the full Apple TV app would be pre-installed. On select slightly older (2017–) Samsung smart TVs, the specialized Apple TV+ app would be available. If your Samsung TV is from 2016 or earlier, then you may need an external streaming device to access the Apple TV app on your TV.

Verify that you have the app on your smart TV (or TV-connected streaming device), or install it from the TV manufacturer’s app repository. You’ll need the app: This streaming service is not available on your TV without the app.

Once you have the app, you can open it, and you would be guided to creating an Apple ID account (if you don’t have one yet), and subscribe to the service.

If you want to start the subscription on an Android mobile device, then do so on the web at tv.apple.com.
