will my apple wallet hold my department store cards or othet types of credit card
I don’t keep up with cards well at all. Just curious does my apple wallet allow me to add my other cards like kohl’s Best Buy etc. yo my wallet u

The Wallet App allows you to add pretty much any credit card but not all card issuers allow their cards to be added to wallet and used with Apple Pay. Your best course of action will be trying to add the cards. Some cards may prompt you to add them through an app, some may add easily thorough the Wallet App, and others may be denied by the issuer.
Set up Apple Pay in Wallet on iPhone - Apple Support
"Add a credit or debit card
To add Apple Card, see Set up and use Apple Card on iPhone (U.S. only). For other debit and credit cards, do the following:
- In Wallet, tap
. You may be asked to sign in with your Apple ID. - Do one of the following:
- Add a new card: Tap Debit or Credit Card, tap Continue, then position your card so that it appears in the frame, or enter the card details manually.
- Add your previous cards: Tap Previous Cards, then choose any cards you previously used. These cards may include the card associated with your Apple ID, cards you use with Apple Pay on your other devices, cards you added to Safari AutoFill, or cards you removed from Wallet. Tap Continue, authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID, then follow the onscreen instructions.
- Add a card from a supported app: Tap the app of your bank or card issuer (below From Apps on Your iPhone).
The card issuer determines whether your card is eligible for Apple Pay, and may ask you for additional information to complete the verification process."
If you can't add a card to Apple Wallet to use with Apple Pay - Apple Support
If you want to add store rewards cards you can also do that. Those are considered passes in the app.

You may be asked to add a pass within an app after you perform an action such as purchasing a ticket. Or, you can tap Add to Apple Wallet when you see it from the following:
- Wallet-enabled apps
- Mail or Messages
- Web browser such as Safari
- AirDrop sharing
- Wallet notification after you use Apple Pay at a supported merchant
- QR code or barcode
- To scan the code, open the Camera app
