I am expecting a refund on for a transaction that I initially settled through Apple Pay. The merchant claims they have issued a refund but I have not seen it on my card. How do I get it back?

Paid for service, expecting a partial refund. Initially payment was done in 3 months ago. Paid using Apple Pay. How do I get the refund?

Sorry, some information is missing. So, I’m reading between the lines below and I certainly could be guessing wrong.

Transactions cannot be settled through Apple Pay. Apple Pay (Apple) only transmits/shares encrypted account information. They are in no way involved in a refund.

Refunds, once made typically take 5 to 10 days to complete. Legally, they may take up to 30 days. The funds being transferred go directly between the merchant and your bank (whoever issued your credit/debit card used for the transaction). If either party directed you to Apple Support they are mistaken and don’t understand how Apple Pay Works.
