how to search icloud photos on pc

Wait. What? There is literally no search bar in Icloud photos? It's not just me, the web based interface is that horribly designed? Someone please just tell me I'm an idiot and show me with a one or two sentence guide :-]

Please? I'm not trying to be rude at all. It's just that, "log into the website and search using the Photos option on the iCloud website" does nothing for me - been there done that, didn't even find a reference to "search" for photos anywhere.

What do I click on (link), or type into (bar or drop-down), to "search" for a photo or video on the icloud browser internets?

"There is literally no search bar in Icloud photos?" Someone help us out... I think we should give up photo quality and return to Google storage. Google has a great AI web-based search program. Apple support, is your AI program listening?

I too, am disappointed in this inability to search in photos. I tried it on my PC in the Photos app and searching is useless there as well. Surely there is encoded information in each photo revealing where and when it was taken.

We can help you with searching iCloud Photos.

What you can do is log into the website and search using the Photos option on the iCloud website:

Use iCloud Photos on iCloud.com

That user guide should help you to use iCloud Photos on your PC web browser.

I noticed the same today. Crazy that there is no search in icloud photos. Very annoying. Apple! comon. There needs to be a search feature, especially now that you find text in images.
