Edit text on a photo

Can’t change the colour or text when adding text on a photo.

iOS 18 Edit photos text color and style buggy I just reported an issue to Apple but maybe you have the same problem and found some workaround? Editing texts with the native photo app is buggy since 18.0. I use an iPhone 13 with iOS 18.0.1 and can’t change the text style and text color anymore since the dialogue just closes or moves to an outer position where you can’t select anything. Some ideas?

editing text in pix using ios 18 i’m not able to edit text added to pictures in ios 18 - the text edit box pops up then immediately disappeares so i can’t change text colors, font size etc

Which pen did you use to draw in the Markup tool?

One of the pens is adding transparency, and then the drawings have no color. Try to use a different pen, shown with a colored tip. Then use the color menu to change the color.
