Others hear static when I use my AirPods
Others hear static when I am using my AirPods. I do not hear the static but others do
AirPods (1st generation)

We understand people you're speaking to on the phone when using AirPods hear static. We'd be happy to help you troubleshoot this.
Start out by recording on the Voice Memos app while using your AirPods to see if you also hear the static.
You may need to reset your AirPods and then test again:
