How do you install firmware for Apple AirPod Pro version one? I’m getting static when I place the device in my ear while I hear a static I get the connection sound but then after that it just gives me static I went to the website and it said check the firmware while I did that I’m running older version And it says to update it but I don’t know how

Firmware updates are delivered automatically while your AirPods are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's connected to Wi-Fi. So if you leave them both nearby charging and connected to Wi-Fi, that should do the trick. Might take a few hours. Let us know how it goes!

Thanks! yes they updated but unfortunately the noise cancelation and transparency being turned on still produces static in the left ear bud. I was hoping a firmware update would fix that but these are first gen AirPod pros and so i may just have to break down and buy a new set.
