Quick Start affect iPhone?
Will Quick Start, old iPad to new iPad, affect my synced iPhone? Should I power down the iPhone?

Setting-up a new device using QuickStart will have no impact upon other devices. The QuickStart process merely copies existing data and settings from the source to target device. Nothing is moved or deleted.
There is no need - or benefit - in shutting down other devices.
