Samsung soundbar mutes when i turn on AppleTV and the volume is so low when played via apple tv YouTube app.

My TV is Samsung QN85C (same issue on qn85B and **7000).

I'm having these two issues lately, my OS and firmwares are up to date.

1. Playing the same song, when played using appleTV - YouTube app, the volume is low. (Turned off noise reduction or whatever the option on AppleTV settings) and the volume is at Max. But the same song/video plays with high volume when using native YouTube app on Samsung TV.

2. When I start the TV using apple TV, the soundbar goes on mute just after 5 seconds of startup.

I plugged it at eArc HDMI port, tried a new HDMI cable as well.

Am planning to buy an open box AppleTV and test on it. If TVs are the cuplrit or my AppleTV 2016 had kicked the bucket.!.

Edit:

Bought a brand new apple TV 3rd gen. It sounded great with old HDMI cable. So, I put back the old one, it started working fine (occasionally going in and out). I think it's nearing the end of it's life (just after 4 years? I think it served me well).

Mute problem is still there with brand new one too.

Any help?
