My android phone tracked by my own airtags

Hi I have two airtags set up, 1 for my keys and one for my wallet. I sold my iPhone a few days ago but I still keep an eye on my airtags with my ipad. My S23Ultra has now started to warn me that It have spotted two trackers on me when I move arround. I can't turn of this notification because I still want my phone to notify me if there actualy is an airtag thats not mine tracking me. How am I supposed tell my phone that the two Airtags I own and use are to be trusted by my phone. Or do i just have to throw them away? why cant I search for my airtags in the tracked detect app and tell my phone that those are my airtags?

Well as I mentiond I still have my iPad pro to manage my Airtags. Apple has made an android app to trace airtags. This app need to have the option to "trust this device" so I can tell my phone to warn me from other peoples airtags and not my own. From a technical point it sould not be hard at all to let the Bluetooth mac adresses be greenlit by the app and then get ignored by the device. It's a **** move by Apple to have there airtags consistently trigger an anoying warning notification on a non iPhone without the possibility to let owners tell there phones trust there own tags. The same function makes my airtags chime every time I move them. I bet they did this to force there users to stay in there locked eco system. I like the airtags. I own and like the ipad pro and airpods pro 2, but they still going to mess with me because I don't want there imprisoning iPhone?!

This drives me absolutely insane. Every day i travel more than 20 minutes I get this on my S20+ Maybe were barking up the wrong tree since its a samsung problem. But to the OP i feel your frustration. I have an ipad air cellular and 12 airtags. I travel with at least 6 at all times for wallet, car, toolboxes, etc. it also can never connect. Maybe offer something in the android app to mark as safe?

I am having the same issue!! I put an air tag in my Samsung phone case and attached the air tag to my mom's phone so she can track me, in case something happens to me, and my Samsung phone recently started popping up with notifications! It has the last 4 digits of my mom's phone number as "the owner of the air tag" so I know it's referring to the air tag that I own. There should be an option to click "it's ok, I'm aware of this airtag. Remind me again in xx days." Or "leave me alone and stop informing me of my own airtag." I'll be in the middle of doing something on my Samsung phone and it pops up randomly all day long. I still prefer my new samsung phone over my old iPhone and don't plan to go back. But I like the airtag over other tracking devices because occasionally I'll drop it in my young kids pocket when we are out and about in case they get lost. I like having the ability to do that so easily.

When you initially paired these AirTags with your old iPhone, they also became associated with your Apple ID. They are also "highly dependent" on still having an iPhone to manage them.

When you sold your iPhone, I am assuming that you first didn't remove these tags from your Apple ID. The tags don't know you still don't have this phone. The only way to disassociate them now would be to use another iPhone, logged in with the same Apple ID, to remove them.

Unfortunately, Apple does not provide Android phone users with any means to manage their AirTags ... so there is no simple means for you to stop getting these notifications. Also, your Android phone doesn't care who owns the tags, they are only allowed to warn you of their presence.
