charging iphone 14 with 5 watt charger

Is it okay to charge iphone 14 in car with 5 watt charger.

Verizon salesman indicated it could harm battery.

It is NOT going to harm the battery of your iPhone 14 if you use the 5 Watt Charger. Your iPhone will just charge very slowly.
