Why does iPhone disconnect when receiving internet connection from other iPhone or Android phones right after screen turns off? At the same time I do not experience the same problems when receiving internet from a Wi-Fi network or a device such as a broadband router. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and have been experiencing this ever since I bought the phone.

Use these steps first
Restart the iPhone or iPad that provides Personal Hotspot and the other device that needs to connect to Personal Hotspot. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS. On the iPhone or iPad that provides Personal Hotspot, go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap Reset Network Settings.
