Turn off swipe gesture to go back

My iPhone 14 Pro is constantly going back to the last page when I am just trying to scroll down to see more of the page. This tends to happen a lot on Facebook where I am trying to scroll down to see more of the posts on a thread and instead it goes back to the previous page.

I tried turning on Touch Accommodations and adjusting the settings but then my phone doesn’t recognize how fast I type. It will only acknowledge one or two letters of a four letter word. Using a different combination of settings it had issues with swiping; when I tried to swipe to scroll down to see more on a page the swiping recognition was delayed, or reacted as if I had tapped to select/open.

What settings do I need to select so that my phone will not flip back a page when I am just trying to scroll, but still let me scroll up and down on a page and also text normally?

Can I turn off swipe right/left? Or change what they do?

I saw there were other posts asking this, but they did not resolve the problem.

Thanks!
