I can’t find the pin tool. I’ve tried pens, pencils, paper, clips earrings. If I put the pin in too far to open slot?
I can’t find the pin tool and have tried all of the above.

You're welcome. Your Apple Store will be able to get it out for you.
A paperclip should work just fine. You do need to push harder than you might think you'd need to push.
If you simply can't get it out with some force, take it to your Apple Store and they can help you.
