Why can we not view the Photos on our I-devices in Itunes

Okay I have seen several articles in which this question is/was asked, but NO ONE I mean NO ONE has given anyone answer, all they have done is do this do that do this do that.

So I am going to push for an answer to the question not a solution on how to do it, but why is it not showing Under "On My device" in itunes?

We can see everything else on the Device but not photos.

Please give us an answer to this question. I do not want an article link or any halfa$$ed answer.

I want a straight up answer from someone in Apple support.

You all seem very apt at dodging the question with article links and do this and do that, but never an answer!!

Has Sr Leadership told you not to answer this question because then they could be held liable for the answer?

I would like the answer to be from an actual Apple Employee not from a MSP / Outsourced company.

Be honest with us.

You can not view photos because iTunes is not a photo viewer. It was not developed for that reason. You also cannot edit video in Word or make a slide show in Excel. Those are just not features of the software.

Even if you go up the ladder Apple are unlikely to give you their reasoning for why iTunes doesn't include photo browsing or transfer tools. See Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or PC - Apple Support for Apple's advice on transferring this content to your computer. You can also copy off files by exploring the DCIM folder on the device that should be exposed in Windows Explorer when the device is connected and your computer has been trusted.

Then I am asking my question in place that no one can give me a solid answer.

If I can view video and listen to music on my device why can I NOT view photos., That makes no logical sense at all. No I am not new to Apple but the lack of answer is frustrating to me.

Tell me Itunes is not a photo viewing software is not an answer.

I mean no offense to you at all. Please have a great and wonderful day.

So you cannot view photos in Itunes from the I-device

but you can view videos from the i-device.

Tell me does that make any sense at all?

A lot of coding has to go into a program in order for it play a video whereas almost NO coding is needed to simply display a photo.

I am NOT here to pick a fight I am just flummoxed that simplest thing in world like displaying is out of bound but viewing a video is not or play music from the device.

I am done here as I will never get the answer I am seeking here.
