the software downloads but when the installation process starts it immediately states installation failure. I have changed the security so that the macbook should accept downloads from the app store as well as registered app providers....any suggestions
Do you have any anti-virus, optimizer, cleaner, or app removal programs installed? Please strongly consider removing them, as they simply cause more problems than they claim to prevent.
Is your MacBook Air a "managed" computer provided by a company? They may need to authorize the install.
Are you certain you're attempting to install the correct version of the app?
How old is your MacBook Air? If it's a "vintage" model, it may be limited to 32 bit apps, and as such wouldn't be able to install a 64 bit app.
What is the error message exactly .. if there is one?
