Migration Assistance

Cannot complete migration assistance on my pc until I quit Edge browser. Edge browser is not on.

iMac 24″, macOS 13.5

when I open migration assistant on my pc it says microsoft edge is still open and is making me close it but its not open. i tried restarting my pc but it wont go away or let me continue my windows pc keeps recognizing edge as open and wont let me continue with migration assistant. I dont know what to do. edge has never been open on my pc. im trying to migrate data from my windows pc to my macbook air.

Windows migration assistant will not open on my PC. Just received a new Mac book and I am trying to use the Windows migration assistant on old PC and it will not even open. I have turned off Virus protection and auto windows updates. I have also ran the software update on the new MAC.

Shut down the computer that's giving you that message. Make sure it's disconnected from the computer you're trying to migrate to. Wait 30 seconds. Restart. Try Migration Assistant again.
