I’ll specifically address several of the issues you mention in your post.
Apple Card is issued and serviced by Goldman Sachs Bank. Apple Cash is administered by Green Dot Bank. Each financial institution has their own support staff and it’s separate from Apple Support. However, if you call/chat Apple Support, your call will be transferred to the appropriate support team.
Banks are regulated by Federal banking regulations. Support staff are told what to do by the powers that be and once an account is restricted or locked, it’s too late for discussion or explanation. It’s always best to have full disclosure with the institutions you bank with. This is just a personal opinion based on 40+ years of experience. This not, in my opinion, a Goldman Sachs, Apple or Green Dot issue. Your transactions triggered a red flag and your account is/was under investigation. Banks are empowered to pick the customers they’ll do business, just as long as they don’t discriminate per Federal laws.
Now for the good news. Your Apple Card will still earn Daily Cash and you can request that Goldman Sachs transfer the funds to your bank etc. But, from your post, it appears your Apple Cash account has be restricted. You can continue earning Daily Cash with every transaction. Goldman Sachs may even be able to transfer it to an Apple Savings account. You are welcome to discuss with Goldman Sachs how this will work.
