My FaceTime screen goes sideways even though orientation lock is on

While on FaceTime, even though orientation lock is on, my FaceTime screen still goes sideways. Can anyone tell me why this is?

Sometime turning a feature off, restarting a device, and turning the feature back on can help:


If it doesn’t, is your iPhone up to date? The latest iOS version is 16.6. You can see which iOS your iPhone is on by going to Settings > General > About. If it’s not on that version, please backup your iPhone and update it:
