What is considered a bad cycle count for MacBook Pro 2020?

Welcome!

Generally Apple considers that a battery should be able to do "up to" 1000 cycles before falling under 80% health. Note the "wiggle words."

This is not alway a useful or even pertinent indicator. The battery in my Macbook Pro is now at 80% and about 360 cycles. Sounds bad at first reading, but its runtime is still more than acceptable and the computer is over 10 years old (new Summer 2013) and that is the original battery! That is superb service.

I use Macbook Pro on battery for about three hours every week, a suggestion I found in an older Apple battery support article published before such resources were dumbed down at the altar of Minimalist Design.

If you are having issues with your Macbook Pro, please post details and we may be able to spot a clue. Otherwise the best advice I can offer is to not stress over your battery.

Haven't noticed a problem as such, has slowed down a little but nothing I'm concerned with.

Mine is currently sitting at 986, I've had it for over 3 years and do use it for around 6-12 hours a day as I use it for gaming and browsing. But I'm not sure what the percentage is sitting at as I can't view it under the battery information under system information.
