Not able to scroll a zoomed photo in Apple Photos

I can zoom a photo in Photos, but I cannot scroll the photo to look at different parts of it while it is zoomed. Note that I do not use a mouse, I use a Wacom tablet. If I hold option key the cursor turns into a grabber hand but still does not let me scroll a zoomed photo.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.5

Newish quick crop feature in photos not working as advertised Recently discovered this feature. When I zoom in on a photo, the little crop button appears in the top right corner. As soon as I release my fingers (to tap crop), the button disappears. So it appears, then it disappears before I can execute. What in the heck is going on. I certainly cannot pinch zoom in with one hand, and tap the button with the other hand (before it disappears), I only have two hands. According to the basic usage of this, it doesn't even work. Is there some secret, undisclosed magic trick to using crop? Thank you

Picture shifts/crops automatically After taking a photo it looks fine in the thumbnail in the bottom left but as soon as you click on it it’ll zoom out and shift it to the left and then fill the rest black. Screen recording of the problem. Quite a few people have the same issue I’ve seen on Reddit but no real fix. Regards Matt.

Scrolling While Dragging Issue in Photos When I am in a album and I want to drag a photo, or group of photos, beyond the visible edge of the window, I used to be able to drag to the top, or bottom, and the screen would scroll. Now when I do that, I need to move it to the edge, drop it, scroll the screen and drag it again. Haven't been able to find a setting that would allow this. It seem like a bug in Photos in Ventura.

Have you tried to use scroll gestures? To drag the zoomed photo with two fingers on the trackpad?

This is working well for me with the built-in trackpad of my MacBook Air. I cannot trust with an external trackpad, sorry.
