cannot verify payment information

I am trying to upgrade to more iCloud storage, but every time I add in my payment it says "Cannot verify payment information. Contact Apple Support for more info". What do I do?

Can't update payment method I have a message that there was a problem with my icloud storage payment. Don't understand why at all!!! I am told to update my payment details.
