Broken External Monitor Support

I wanted to see if Apple had fixed external monitor support for ANY monitors from thunderbolt to DP1.4. This was between updated 13.3 and 13.5. Because of this, I have sold all of my mac products and I am now exclusively using Windows machines. I would consider purchasing another Macbook if this was corrected in an update. I was told by Apple to call Samsung, as it was their problem. (I have two, 49 inch widescreen monitors.)

And what did Samsung have to say?

The monitors were up to date. Additionally, monitors worked with my iPad Pro Gen 5. They also work flawlessly with my Windows products. As such, I have sold all of my Apple products and purchased windows products. I cannot have a situation where Apple neglects their drivers and blames it on users or other companies. My spouse has a Mac, which is fine, as she does not connect to external monitors. I will abstain from purchasign ANY future Apple products for the foreseeable future. I find it totally disingenuous that I am told to call Apple for support, for they are the ones who told me to essentially go away, and to call Samsung. This reminds me of when Blackberry similarly, ignored their customers. Tell me....where is Blackberry today.

I thoroughly love Apple products when they work. Feels like Apple inadvertently started breaking drivers with the new silicon and M1 and M2 upgrades. Really crappy for them wash their hands of their products and send me on my way. Soooooo....I did just that. Appreciate your reply and point of view. Maybe, once Apple fixes their monitor drivers, I may come back. As you can, I am one of thousands, with this issue. It has been going on for at least a year.
