Missing iMovie Media

All of my media from my libraries prior to 2022 is missing. Every completed video I have ever done is missing all of its media in my iMovie Library. What do I do???

iMovie import window doesn't display media files for import I am having an issue with importing media into an iMovie project. When I click the import media arrow, I get an empty list. Then if I choose Desktop, it is empty again, not even the mp4 videos I have on the desktop. I can drag and drop those videos into iMovie but why don't I see them listed in the Import window as I have seen in the iMovie tutorials?

Imovie doesn't show all my events For a few days once I open the imovie library it doesn't show me all the events it has. In fact, if I go into the library by clicking on "show package contents" I find all my videos. However, if I open the Library only a couple appear. I tried updating the computer and reinstalling imovie, but nothing changes.

Control-click on the library's icon in the Movies folder. Select Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu. In the list of project folders that appears, open some of the project folders and then open the Original Media folder inside the project folders. Is there any media shown in the Original Media folders?
