If AirPod Pros are reset, will they disappear from the FindMy app?

I can't find my AirPods Pros and my apartment isn't very big. Using the FindMy app I am unable to locate them even when I've walked all around my place. Checked the car, same thing. The last location was more than a day ago and has my building's address (obviously can't say which apartment). The batteries for the case and pods shouldn't be dead, maybe not full charged but not dead.

I've marked them as lost but still can't find any trace of the AirPods.

My question is, if someone found and reset my AirPods, would they automatically be removed from my FindMy app? Or is it possible that the AirPods were found, reset and still show up in my FindMy app just appearing like they have not be connected for over a day?

Thank you.

Hey SpcyBearF4rts,

That's a great question! Resetting the AirPods doesn't remove Find My. Resetting the AirPods simply fixes issues related to the AirPods not charging, not connecting, etc. Check out this article for more information: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro
