The Related Article is about how to use an iPhone to set up an Apple Watch.

If you are trying to use another type of "smart watch" or "exercise watch" with an iPhone, refer to the user manual that the manufacturer of that watch provided with it. The built-in Watch app is meant to manage Apple Watches – so for other types of "smart watches", you might need to download third-party apps from the App Store.
