Netflix and MacAir
why can't I first of all get a Netflix App on MacAir and secondly, when I access Netflix through Friendly streaming I am unable to download to watch offline when travelling

The fact Netflix does not have an app for the Mac may have something to do with that.

Netflix does not permit downloading movies for offline viewing on Macs. Only their iOS app permits downloading movies for offline viewing.
