In Numbers, how to calculate interest earned on a CD, compounded quarterly

In Numbers, how does one calculate interest in dollars, earned on a CD, compounded quarterly? I know the amount of the CD, the interest rate, that it is compounded quarterly, and the term length of the CD. Which formula do I select, and what numbers go where?

Type = in the cell where you need the result. The functions selector will appear at the right. Pick the Financial category and study each function to pick the one that's right for you. When your choice is made, click on Insert function and Numbers will guide you with the parameters.
