Safari Bookmarks - switch from icons to list format
How does one do this switch; a previous answer did not directly address this issue in iOS on iPad.

Hello rlonsda,
While your bookmarks will appear as icons on the Safari start page, you can still view them in a list by tapping on the sidebar icon in the upper left corner of Safari, and then tapping on Bookmarks: Bookmark favorite websites in Safari on iPad - Apple Support
