Cinematic mode not working 13 pro max

Hey, the cinematic mode isn’t working for my iPhone 13 Pro Max on the 1x setting on the back camera but works on the front and works when I put it on 3x. On 1x the screen is just a blurred background. I’ve seen that other people have had this same issue before I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I already tried a reset as well.

How to record video in Cinematic mode

Open the Camera app, then swipe to Cinematic mode.
Tap the arrow in landscape mode to show these adjustment options: ...
Tap the record button to begin recording.
Tap a subject in the viewfinder to change focus as you record. ...
Tap the record button again to stop recording.
