If it was not or can not be properly cleared for resale by the original owner, then you need to return it.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing your iMac due to a password and iCloud lock.

If you don't have the password, you may need to try resetting it. To do so, you'll need to restart your iMac and hold down the Command + R keys until you see the Apple logo. This will take you to the Recovery Mode.

From there, you can select "Utilities" and then "Terminal". In the Terminal window, type "resetpassword" and press Enter. Follow the prompts to reset your password.

As for the iCloud lock, you'll need to contact Apple Support for assistance. They may ask for proof of purchase to verify that you are the rightful owner of the iMac. Once they have verified your ownership, they can assist you in unlocking the iCloud account.
