A1502 Macbook with Touchpad and Keyboard Problems

I have a 2015 MacBook Pro, A1502, and the trackpad and keyboard don't work. I replaced the upper case with the keyboard and the trackpad, and everything began to work again for a short period of time... but after a reboot, it stopped working again. I swapped out the SSD and reinstalled MacOS Catalina, and then all of a sudden the touchpad and keyboard worked again. Once again, after a reboot the touchpad broke, and at this point I ended up changing the trackpad cable twice, but still no dice. The trackpad and keyboard still work in recovery modes, but they refuse to work on macOS. The keyboard still works to do an SMC reset and any other shortcuts during boot, but of course, it doesn't work in MacOS. I've dug into MacOS and looked for hours online for help with this problem to no avail and I just needed to run it by apple community.
