Simple CUT and PASTE - from iPhone 7+ to Windows 11 PC

Hello everyone,

I'm been trying to do a relatively simple task for years now.

Hoping an iOS or windows update would fix this but it seems I’ll be waiting for

an eternity.

I wish to cut/move photos off my iPhone 7+ to a Windows 11

PC to free up space on my iPhone.

I do not wish to use iCloud, I have at least 80 GB of

photos and videos.

I have tried using windows explorer, cut and paste. This

works with a small number of files, but if I copy a large number of files or big

files it tends to crash.

Perhaps, there is an iTunes alternative to move photos off

my iPhone?
