iPhone 14 pro screen flickering/glitching

If your device is under warranty/coverage, you can directly walk-in to Apple Service Center. They are aware of this issue.

The screen will be replaced and the device will be handed back to you

iPhone 14 Pro - 22 may 2023 I got my phone - I updated on 25th May 2024 - ever since yesterday it’s been glitching- Apple warranty expired just 2 days back. I don’t know what to do.

my phone is getting hot since 4 month-ish since last update.

i never dropped or even scratched my phone

never dropped liquid on it

i tried reset, force reset, factory reset too.

‘nothing works…

but!!!! When the Apple logo or setup page comes up it doesn’t glitch. As soon as home page or other apps open it glitches.

why would I want to pay for the damage I didn’t do?

please help!

My iPhone 14 Pro Max was suffering from water damage. It fell into my small inflatable pool, and even though it is waterproof up to 6 meters of depth, my 50 centimeters instantly distroyed my phone which was less than 2 years old. To repair it, the costs would be 800 euro. I ended up buying a new iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Please everyone remember: iPhones ARE NOT WATERPROOF !!

Did restart and reset setting work for your phone? I mean if many people are experiencing the same thing with Apple particularly the iPhone 14 series or less then Apple must have known about this and they should release a statement regarding this, it has happened to some even late 2023 until now, it is happening to me now with my iP 14 pro the screen flickers is worst tho i rarely drop my phone.

It seems a lot of people are facing the issues with iPhone 14 and 14 pro max.

I have reported the same to apple support 2 week back and no satisfactory response or update done in 2 weeks.

Apple is fixing the same issue for Iphone 13 series by replacing the display; but denying approvals on newer models. I have l my 2 expensive apple phone went of no use in 2 week time:

1) Iphone 14 pro max having green screen without and physical or water or electric damage & no fix by apple.

2) Iphone stopped ioS 17 updates to certain models making them useless as UPI can not be done with older version.

So, XR and before cannot be used because of no IoS17 update and 13 and onwards having the display issues.

After the ios update 17.6.1 my iPhone 14 pro started glitching. I have tried force restart, resetting all settings, and even erasing my entire phone, but nothing worked. My warranty was just expired plz help..

After latest ios 18 update for my iPhone 14 top of the screen starts flickering while pressing back on top left option this happened exactly few day after warranty expiration, kind of fishy someone should take it seriously and revert back to. Thanks

Shocked to hear this is a phone fault, recently took my ip14 to the genius guys at apple who didn’t even mention this. Did mention it must be a screen fault. But not that it’s a common fault. Design by the sounds of it. Thank goodness I have an upgrade coming not paying £300 for a new screen
