Which Apple-branded keyboard can I use with a Mac mini manufactured in 2012?

Anything with a USB cable that plugs into the mini. Older keyboards than that would have an ADB connector.

Even the current standard keyboard should work.

But it doesn't have to be an Apple keyboard. I've been using the (now discontinued) Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 on my Macs for well over 15 years.

I also have to pull back on the latest keyboard I linked to. I thought the image of the cable was Thunderbolt on one end and USB-Type A on the other. It's not. The other end is USB-C. You can still use it, but you can't plug that keyboard in without a USB-C female to USB-Type A male adapter.

In a search for older, genuine Apple USB wired keyboards, I had to resort to eBay.
