I'm currently running High Sierra 10.13.6 with no further options for an upgrade.

I have a Imac retina 5K, 27inch late 2015. 24GB memory. Why can I upgrade to Mojave?

You should be able to. However, before making any upgrade/updatge be sure to have a full and current backup of your drive, a Time Machine backup preferably.


WARNING: be aware that Monterey will require 64 bit apps and any 32 bit apps will not work and will have to be update or replaced with alternatives. To find out which of your apps will not work with Monterey download and run the free GO64 app. It will tell you which apps will and will not run with Monterey (or any system from Catalina or newer).
