Follow whichever of these instructions most closely describes your symptoms:


If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support


or


If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support


Be prepared: If it’s a hardware issue (not uncommon) repair will require physical access to your iPhone by a repair technician.
