Extremely loud sounds on my Mac Pro when using FaceTime

When using FaceTime EXTREMELY loud sounds come out of my external speakers

FaceTime audio not redirecting to headphones Hello, I am running Sequoia 15.3.2 and have an issue with FaceTime that I haven't had before. When I make a call, the audio output won't direct to my headphones but plays through the MacBook speakers. I have been into sound settings and changed the audio to headphones, which continue to play through the speakers. All other apps play through the headphones as they should. Interestingly, when I choose my headphones in the settings and adjust the volume slider it changes the audio of the MacBook speakers. Thanks so much, Booragal (Interestingly enough, when I searched for a solution, I realised I asked the same question around the same time last year, but with Sonoma 14.4.1)
