Hi guys, I’m still using iPhone EarPods. I have noticed that every time I connect them they prolong the iPhone response time when I want to record a voice message or talk to Siri. Is someone noticing the same challenge and what’s the solution ?

Hey, I’m guessing it’s because you have a sort of old phone and old ear buds… lots of EarPods work nicely with updated phones. Or you could try factory resting the phone to try and make more data available for Siri. My last tip is to check if the Siri “wait enroll I’m done talking” setting is on a longer wait time. These errors are generally caused because either your phone or your EarPods can not communicate fast enough to get by in the modern world

Do you have the original iPhone SE? Or a later version? Do the EarPods plug into a dedicated headset jack? Or into the lightning port? Have you tried other headphones? Have you tried your headphones on a different phone?

Do not start by restoring your phone to factory state. If, as I suspect, the problem is with the EarPods themselves, that won't help.
