Safari not playing well with Wordpress

For the past several months now, after zero problems for four years, I am having a number of problems with using Safari to publish my blog on Wordpress. These include spontaneously changing font size, hanging up when updating a post, losing text, etc. Really, at any point Safari can screw up what I am trying to do. At first I contacted Wordpress and we tried to work through my difficulties, but simply switching browsers to Firefox made all of those troubles go away.

I have some of the problems too with mit 2023 MBP. 12+ years experience with WordPress. Switched to Chrome just for WordPress Stuff helped. However I don't encounter most of the problems anymore in Safari. Some of your problems I never encountered.

Maybe try to install a clean WordPress Installation somewhere and see if the problems still exist. I assume that some plugins aren't tested in Safari by their developers and could cause a few of your problems. You should also check if none of your extensions causes the issues and you don't have Adblock installed or javascript disabled.

Hope that gives you a few things to try out.
