My map is reporting distance in meters instead of miles
I went to Ireland and the distances are now in meters instead of miles on my maps

That's because your device's measurement system is set to metric. To change it to miles, follow these steps:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
- Tap General.
- Tap Language & Region.
- Tap Measurement System.
- Choose US.
Once you've made this change, Apple Maps will start reporting distances in miles.
