My iPhone has only 99 videos and 212 photos but is taking up 47 GBs on it

My phone has only 99 videos and 212 photos but is taking up 47 GBs on my phone. Is there a way to fix this or at least help lower it.

It may be the size of the videos, but it can also be storage corruption. You can sync the videos to iCloud and see how large they are there. If they are smaller in iCloud (go to https://icloud.com/photos to check) then unsync them by turning off Settings/[your name]/icloud/photos, chose to NOT keep them on your phone, restarting your phone, and turning it back on.
