Replace the dead drive with one that works.
If the drive will not show up at all, your original files are GONE. I hope you have backup copies somewhere.
Simplest is to connect an external drive, install MacOS, and go on about your business.
More complex is to replace with a new internal drive, such as the aftermarket drives for your specific model sold by OWC:

A drive that will not tell Disk Utility its make&model and a reasonable non-zero size/capacity, has died and is no longer usable.
what model-year MacBook Pro and what screen size?

Yes, it does, and a drive for it to be implemented on would be an additional nice touch, but this Installer software is made to be compact, so they re-used an error message that is not perfect, but does apply.

Recovery creates a whole lot of under 1 GB RAM drives so that it can still run even when your Boot drive is not available, not working, or needs repair. Around 28 such drives have been seen in some cases when using Internet Recovery.
This is completely expected behavior. No cause for alarm.
I have followed the process on Terminal tab too but can’t seem to get anywhere. Would appreciate if someone could help me?
