IPod Games

I have downloaded some games for my iPod classic 7th gen and imported them but it says that it cannot open the app. Is there any way to get those games onto the iPod correctly?

If you mean an iPod Classic, which looks like the one below;

... then you cannot add apps to it. That model came with three pre-installed games, but from what I recall now, those games are no longer available.


If you mean an iPod Touch, which looks like the one shown below;


... then the correct method is to download them from the iTunes app store. That way, you will know whether the games will work on your iPod. Since you haven't mentioned where you obtained these games, it's possible that you may have versions intended for a different operating system.
